We're so excited you'll be joining us on our latest adventure (our wedding!)….and if you're looking for more while in PR , we've got you covered. You all know we love a good adventure, everything we recommend, we've done - enjoy!
Renowned rum distillery featuring historical tours, mixology classes, tastings & more. If you come in early or leave late, highly recommend reserving a tour ahead of the trip
La Placita is a farmer's market during the day that turns into a live and festive strip on Friday (best night) and Saturday nights! Think New Orleans' Bourbon St. Come out for music and drinks, and local nightlife.
Condado Lagoon, located right in the heart of San Juan, is a fun kayaking adventure. Highly suggest going on a night tour to experience the illuminating blue seas (there are daytime tours as well)
Did you know Puerto is home to the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System? A beloved natural gem, we highly recommend taking a tour or self-guided trips to this area, definitely worth a day trip if you're in early. After the rainforest we suggest driving over to eat at La Parilla in Luquillo (best stuffed lobster!), you'll find a strip of outdoor bars, take in the surroundings occupied by locals
Viejo San Juan (Old San Juan) late night party strip , food music, and bar hopping through to 4AM. Best on Saturday's , but a good time any night (Fav bars: La Factoria, El Cafetin, The Mezzanine, Nono's)
Located in the PR's Convention Center, shipping, entertainment, dining (La Central - fancy steakhouse w/ good drinks). Family fun, they also have a small zip line.
Daytime Sightseeing: Designated a World Heritage Site, serving as a fort for Puerto Rico from Spanish rule through to the Second World War. Full of history, take in the beauty of the architecture and ingenuity of design, enjoy the views of the highest points of old San Juan (also not to mention, a great place for those who love a good photo op ;).
Vibrant canopy of umbrellas characterizes the unique cobblestoned pathways and colonial-era buildings of Old San Juan. Though the decor changes periodically, here, you can roam (catch some fun photo ops) , do some local shopping and grab some good eats in the area.
Barrachina (great food - entertainment on select nights- said to be where the piña colada was originated , we also recommend trying mojitos)
Restaurante Raíces (authentic PR food, highly recommend making a rezy, it gets busy!)
Bistro Cafe (feel good breakfast food!)
Casita Miramar (vibrant PR dishes)
Serafina (conveniently next door to La Concha hotel, good italian dishes / pizza)
Los Pinos Café (if you're in need of some late night grub, here's a 24-hr spot)
